Following the preparation of a wider framework plan for Oxford City Council, the Practice undertook a more detailed feasibility study of the former canal basin site. Owned by Nuffield College, the site is currently used as a surface car park by the City Council. The study was supported by British Waterways who appraised technical issues for the reinstatement of the basin as a tourist focus with cross funding from proposed development of the new waterside. The proposals utilised financial spreadsheet and 3D CAD models to test options.
