CABE Enabler for Hastings Ore Valley Design Code Pilot Project
studio | REAL was one of small number of practices selected by CABE to act as Enablers on the Design Code Pilot initiative sponsored by the ODPM. The aim of the initiative was to test the application of design codes in the UK. Enablers contributed to think tank sessions on the principles and key issues of applying codes and provided advice on the production of a specific design code. studio | REAL took on this role for the Hastings, Ore Valley Design Code, helping to focus debate and foster mutual understanding between the key players in the project.
