September | Urban Design Compendium 2 Launch

studio | REAL were selected to write a second Urban Design Compendium for English Partnerships and The Housing Corporation in 2006. Urban Design Compendium 2 (UDC2) is a high profile publication which focuses on how to deliver high-quality schemes and will be a companion to the original Compendium. Leading a team which also included ARUP, Urban Delivery and XCO2, the Practice researched and reviewed over 200 national and international case studies in drawing up advice. The new publication is intended to assist local authorities, developers, planners, architects and others in the design and delivery of high-quality, new developments. The new book is launched in September 2007. The publication is accompanied by a website of best-practice case studies which studio | REAL is commissioned to research and update.
