January | Littleport Vision and Masterplan
We are pleased to announce that studio | REAL and Urban Delivery have been chosen by East Cambridgeshire District Council to support their work in preparing a Masterplan for Littleport.
Littleport is a market town located 5 miles north of Ely with a population of 7500 residents. The aim of the Masterplan is to prepare a vision and strategic development framework for the future of Littleport up until 2031. The vision will reflect local community needs and define the appropriate role for the town in the wider district/county/regional context, whilst the strategic framework will set out how the future development of the town will be managed.
studio | REAL and Urban Delivery will be focusing on options generation and appraisal over the next 12 weeks to feed into the masterplan. These will then be used by the District Council, stakeholders and the community to make informed choices in order to select a preferred option for the town’s future.
