Oxford Central Charrette

A group of urbanists and urban designers met earlier this year to create a vision for the central part of the Oxford city comprising Oxpens and Osney Mead. This was done on a pro bono basis under the auspices of the Academy of Urbanism and the Oxford Civic Society.

The Workshop explored how proposals for various major sites could be joined together to create a coherent urban quarter fit for the 21st century. The team included David Rudlin, Nicholas Falk and Benjamin Palle of Urbed, Henk Bouwman of UiP, Christian Bocci of Weston Williamson, Helen Mchollan of Illman-Young, Biljana Savic of Enabling Places, Jon Rowland of JRUD and Roger Evans.
